@HGrahamNFL @ChatSports Trading TJ Edwards would weaken the run defense, period. People act like D'Marco Jackson is some starting caliber MKE, and he's simply not. He's a nice guy to have, but not a starter on a team trying to win a ring, at least not at MKE.

@mtntallpaul Well, it sure as shit doesn't exist to take $1.5 Trillion from the American people, so one guy can play Call of Duty and fight Israel's war for them or overthrow other foreign leaders that don't kiss his ass.

@EricLDaugh Made for who? Just like who benefits from oil exports? He he, however, managed to singlehandedly cost the American people around $1 BILLION, straight out of their pockets EVERY SINGLE DAY for more than two months. FU!

🚨 JUST IN: In a STUNNING blow to the "experts," Scott Bessent confirms President Trump has made America $30-$40 BILLION DOLLARS through his deal with Intel Another win! "I was in the Oval when he told the CEO of Intel that he would like a 10% stake. The CEO turned it over, and the US government's made between $30 and $40 billion on that, and no one wants to give the President credit for that, and he is working for the American people every day!" @RapidResponse47 They said it was impossible 🇺🇸

It’s absolutely fucking wild how many of you entitled bitches are so quick to blame Trump and a 60 day operation for how awful it is to live in America after going through 4 years of Biden. We literally don’t deserve him. Oh, your gas prices are temporarily a little higher? Get the fuck over it you crybaby bitches. Fuckin two months. You absolute babies need to shut the fuck up for real.

@BearsEmpire_ He's the 15th highest paid DE, he was 18th in pressures and 5th I believe among DE'for tackles. His contract seems exactly right, actually, and besides, Sweat has never been the problem. There's just a few guys on the couch that don't realize it.

If Sweat has the same kind of season like he did in 2025. Cutting him to free up 21 million is the easiest decision ever. Effort sacks doesn’t make up for zero pressure

@OneBadDude_ That's a list of ridiculous questions. There's not a chance in hell this clown can accomplish any of them, much less all of them. The question for you is how long are you going to keep believing in him despite his daily failures.

Question for all the liberals out there…. -When gas drops to $2 a gallon -When victory is declared over Iran -When the fentanyl stops flowing into the country -When inflation comes down -When the cost of housing drops -When you’re taking home more of your paycheck -When you’re paying less in taxes -When our streets are safer from criminals Will you thank President Trump then?

@John_F_kJr Trump keeps doing assinine shit every time he gets butt hurt and weakens the United States at every turn. That's not the shocking part, though. Shocking is how many idiots cheer him destroying the country, I assume, because they're too ignorant to realize it's what he's doing.

@Red_Shinobi93 @jacobinfante24 It's not really a job to take, though. Swift and Monangai each have their own job, and no one on the Bears is looking to have one take over for the other. Either "losing their job" would require a third guy to enter the mix and replace one of them.

My take is that Kyle Monangai reaches 1,000 rushing yards for the #Bears this season. He has 783 yards as a rookie with a limited role his first 5 games. With another year in the system, I think he takes over as the 1A in the backfield.

@CeeVee3YT You can stack the entire d-line and be just as "good" as the Giants. The Bears needs on defense are way overblown, and I suggest paying closer attention to Dennis Allen's career. He's not Lovie or Flus. He's not running the Tampa 2. He doesn't need a unicorn 3T to have success.

Here’s where I’m at with Austin Booker: I can totally see Booker blossoming in a star edge rusher in like 1-2 more years. The problem is he’s currently the only dlineman on our roster with even a remote chance at that kind of upside. On top of that, even if Booker does become a star edge rusher, we still need a good enough DT room to help Booker out. Star Booker at edge won’t be enough by himself. That’s why the Raiders and Cowboys consistently have mid/below average dline play even though they’ve had one star dlineman for the past few years.

@GuntherEagleman You're a fucking retard. First, we produced less oil domestically in 1/26 (after 1 year of Trump) than we did in 12/2024, the last month of Biden. Second, how the fuck does that help Americans even if it was true. It helps oil companies, not us, you fucking traitor.

🚨 AMERICA IS BACK AS THE WORLD’S ENERGY SUPERPOWER Japan just took delivery of 900,000 barrels of American crude, shipped straight from Texas through the Panama Canal. Trump kicked China out of Panama, booted Maduro in Venezuela, and choked off Iran’s exports. Now the ENTIRE WORLD is lining up to buy oil from the United States. Drill baby drill. Energy dominance. America First. (Just a picture of an oil tanker, not delivery… for the noters)

@EDuerrwaechter I wouldn't get excited about any d-line additions at either DT or DE. The Bears like who they have, and there's no room on the 53 without cutting someone they like and trust. Major injury is the only thing that changes it. Besides, the "need" is mostly a media and fan creation.

Not going to quote the “source” here. But seeing word involving the #Bears and DT D.J. Reader of which I find to be both far fetched and unlikely to happen. If they’re making a major addition I’d wager it’ll be at defensive end. They look set at DT for the most part. We’ll see.

@jacobinfante24 They've frequently carried only 5 in the past, 6 in 2025 because they wanted to protect Walker. 5 are Rome, Burden, Walker, Raymond and Thomas. They could use added depth elsewhere more than a vet WR6 , in my opinion.

The #Bears could use a veteran WR to compete for a roster spot with their thin depth: Some cheap free agents available: • Noah Brown • Sterling Shepard • Tim Patrick • Gabriel Davis • Chris Moore • Curtis Samuel • Josh Reynolds • Braxton Berrios

@Jeronimo99T @Kirsten_Tanis1 Wishful thinking is fans believing the Bears intended to draft a DE or believing that any of the DE's in the draft would make the Bears better than who they did pick.

2025 BEARS OFFENSE Plays 🔸 11 Personnel: 569 (51.6%) 🔸 12 Personnel: 360 (32.6%) 🔸 13 Personnel: 94 (8.5%) EPA/Play 🔸 11 Personnel: +0.05 🔸 12 Personnel: +0.08 🔸 13 Personnel: +0.32 😳 In the 2nd half of the season, 12 + 13 personnel accounted for 50% of the plays. So Ben kept ratcheting them up all season ➡️ BEN JOHNSON (says to Poles, probably) ‘Let’s select the best blocking TE in the draft for TE3, Sam Roush. He can catch passes too. We’ll have the best TE room in the NFL. That’s a competitive advantage allowing us to lean even more into 12 & 13 personnel in 2026 to drive greater efficiency & break open more explosives. Especially since Loveland & Kmet will be in Y2 of this offense and Roush will be a big upgrade over Smythe, who was ranked 132 of 143 TEs, a very poor run blocker, and Caleb didn’t trust him enough to throw to him. Plus, it also ensures we don’t have to dial back our playbook by half if Loveland or Kmet misses a game, like last year.’ ➡️ SOME BEARS FANS ‘I can’t believe we drafted a (expletive) TE3!’ followed by ‘Let’s trade away Kmet’ ➡️ ME *deep sigh* (cue Sylvester head slam into the pole lol) ➡️ Getting the most out of the infinitely high-ceiling Loveland doesn’t happen if he’s the only good TE in the room. Having the best TE2 & TE3 will in a Ben Johnson offense. Let’s trust that Ben — a Top 5 play caller who also was a TE coach along the way — knows exactly what he’s doing here. ➡️ And that high EPA/play in 13 personnel was *with* Smythe. Imagine how high it could go with the Roush upgrade. Most of the high EPA in 13 personnel was generated off of passing plays last season. More misdirection & bigger holes for Swift, Monangai and Zavion getting carries in 13 personnel could be dangerous this year too. Plus on short yardage must-haves on 4th downs or goal-to-go, better talent at all 3 TE positions to run 13 personnel could lead to better conversion rates & more TDs. ➡️ Ben used 12 & 13 personnel among the Top 3 highest rates last season. Who used them most? McVay. Rams also had the #1 offense.

@Kirsten_Tanis1 They key to 13 is to have 4 receiving threats on the field to force D into subpackage against big bodies, and both have enough speed/receiving ability to successfully pass, while maintaing a big size advantage against only 7 in the box and smaller personnel to run at will.

@Kirsten_Tanis1 The reason is because it meant you only had 3 viable receiving threats on the field, DJ or Rome (but not both) at WR, Loveland and Kmet. All easily covered by 2 CB's and 1 S, leaving 8 in the box vs the run. Because of the talent, those 3 did well on passes (2/3)

@Kirsten_Tanis1 But the run was awful. If you look at RUN EPA, they ran best out of 11. In 11, greater receiving threat/speed, with 4 possible targets, 3 WR and either CL or CK, meant lighter sub package D, and only 7 in the box. Not being able to run in 13 was a total drive killer in 2025 3/3
