@libsoftiktok @HoustonISD In the old country an adult who gave pornography to a child was found face down on a riverbank in the spring. Progress has its drawbacks.

@InRegardstoAli @real_thebomb @CultureCrave Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Chapter 32 “Snape’s face was like a death mask. It was marble white and so still that when he spoke, it was a shock to see that anyone lived behind the blank eyes.”

@CultureCrave The book never said if Snape was black or white so I guess if he plays the role very well then that’s okay by me but RIP to Alan Rickman…I don’t think anyone can ever replace him!

@SenateBudget The rich will lower their income to lower their SS taxes. They don't rely on W2 income. This is idiotic nonsense that will result in LESS money going into SS.

MURRAY: Is it true that people making under $184k pay a 12.4% Social Security tax rate? DAHL: Yes. MURRAY: And the rate for someone making $1 million? DAHL: 2.2%. MURRAY: So, a 12.4% tax for people making less than $184k, but 2.2% for a millionaire or .0002% for billionaires.

CNN’s @ScottJenningsKY on negotiations to end the Democrat shutdown of DHS: “Well, I think last night they did meet. And I do think the President indicated to the people in the meeting that he wanted to move this forward. Today — by the way, what they’re proposing is, I think pretty reasonable. Split it into two vehicles here. Vehicle one gets the airport’s moving again, and the rest of DHS, vehicle two funds the — ICE and other immigration enforcement stuff plus allows them to attach maybe the SAVE America act, which the President really wants in a reconciliation vehicle, which could be done with simple majorities in both chambers. So, it’s a — it’s a two step process. But step one would fix the — the airport thing. I think the President earlier said, you know, it didn’t sound like he was all that happy with it. But of course, that’s not unexpected because I don’t think he’s all that happy having to deal with his Democratic intransigence all the time. So, at any rate, I think they’re still moving towards this. I believe the deal that has been discussed has been filed, and the Republicans are now trying to get the Democrats to agree to collapse time. If they don’t consent to that, my belief is they will probably vote on it on Thursday, and then the Democrats will have to decide if they again want to go down to the floor and keep TSA shut down. We can talk about the both sides here, but one party has been voting to keep this closed now for weeks and weeks and weeks, and one party wants to keep it open, and it sounds like they’ll have another chance to reopen it in the next day or two.”

🚨BREAKING: Speaker Johnson FUMES after learning Democrats SUED the US Department of Agriculture for trying to figure out how many illegal aliens receive welfare "They SUED the USDA for simply asking them how many illegal aliens are on the program in California, New York and these other states!" "They SUED THEM! You need to take account of what people are doing here!" "We are trying to get government to work more efficiently and effectively for the people - and we are getting STOPPED and HINDERED by political games, by Democrats!" "That's why we are so FRUSTRATED." Do you firmly support Johnson on this? A. Huge Yes B. No IF Yes, Give me a THUMBS-UP👍!! MAKE THIS GO VIRAL ON 𝕏. LET’S GO 👏

Analysis finds OVER HALF of immigrant households in America are on welfare - 53% of immigrant-headed households use welfare - 61% for illegal immigrant households are on welfare Even crazier, it’s been discovered illegals can have a kid, then that kid qualifies them for housing “Most of that welfare use is coming to their US -born children, to illegal immigrant-headed households. So you have a parent or 2 parents who are here illegally, but they have children who are born here, and that's very common. And those are U.S citizen children. They're entitled to welfare all sorts of benefits. Food, school, lunch programs, food stamps, even housing assistance can go to those U.S citizen children. And so of course that that floats the whole family.”

I totally get where you’re coming from—I’ve seen similar discussions lately, and it’s got me thinking too. A few years ago, I met a 34-year-old American adult who had finished high school… and he literally couldn’t write a complete, coherent sentence. It shocked me. In my experience (coming from Kenya), education is drilled in from day one. By age 6, kids are expected to handle English (the main language of instruction), plus Kiswahili (the national language) and often a tribal/mother tongue. It’s school, homework, more school—very structured and rigorous. By university, it’s intense but manageable because the foundation is so strong. Here in the U.S., the system feels more relaxed. My own son struggled with motivation because he knew he could land a decent job without a college degree—no big pressure to push through higher education. In Kenya, that’s simply not an option; university is often the key to any real upward mobility. If foundational education isn’t as rigorous (especially in basics like literacy, critical thinking, and STEM prep), it makes sense that some graduates might not compete as strongly—especially against international applicants who’ve come through tougher systems. The numbers are eye-opening: in recent matches, U.S. grads have high rates overall, but international students (many from places with strict early education) are filling spots, and visa issues are making it even harder for them. It’s not about bashing anyone—it’s about asking: Are we prioritizing education enough here?

I've seen a few posts on this today. I think I may have even reposted one, but I've been thinking... What if this has to do with the quality of the education that our US students are receiving? Maybe our students don't measure up in scholastics to international students? Just a thought.

@data_republican Some “American” students got citizenship fraudulently and then they go to the Caribbean schools to become US doctors all while hating American. Someone needs to look into denaturalization and the corrupt Caribbean schools. Just sayin

@data_republican Many foreigners come through the foreign medical schools of the Caribbean, who have a special agreementwith the US so their residencies are in the US. They actually have LOWER admission standards than US schools.
