From last year I actually started enjoying drawing more. Not because I had more consistent artstyle than before. It’s because I stopped expecting my drawings to be perfect. The day I learned how to live with my bad drawings is the day I actually I started enjoying art more.

I feel like the “Katara” from the ember island players is what many ppl claim her character is. That episode legit exaggerates every character’s archetypes, but a portion of the fanbase seems to often reduce Katara down to just that. A parody of what she actually is.

Youtube used to have something of a genuine "video essayist" community, at least an hour-long deep dives into some topic with a truly original take, and now any idiot with mic just does these weekly recaps of whatever dumb thing is trending on tiktok and in a gaping drawling mouth explains why this is heckin problemaaaaaaaaaatic
