It’s almost 6 a.m. I haven’t slept a wink. I’m too happy, and this is why: After their performance, one of the staff members asked me to meet CORTIS backstage. I was still trying to catch my breath after hosting and moving around so much. But a chance to meet them again? Of course! When I got there, they gave me this: a signed album. With a very special note: “Man I don’t know how to put my thoughts to words. U really took big part of our performance and gave us an experience we will never forget. Thank you so much.” This is so much more than I could have ever wished for. Honestly, I just wanted them to enjoy their time in Indonesia. A simple thank you would be more than sufficient. But this lovely gesture is a testament to the kind of people they are. They are so young, yet so thoughtful, kindhearted, humble, and mature beyond their years. It’s such an honor to witness their journey. With talent and hearts like theirs, they’ll go very very far indeed. Aku sayang kalian, CORTIS! Terima kasih COER!
