I learnt this from my uncle. He and his ex fiancé had issues. He went to her family house to plead with her. Her parents were present, he went there with just his friend. Another heated argument started as they both narrated their sides of the story. My uncle kept quiet because he was in the midst of his to-be in-laws. The girl continued running her mouth until she pointed a finger to my uncle and said, "eleyii naa." That statement changed everything. My uncle said, he stood up, thanked his ex parents, and told his friend to meet him in the car. He left. Later, everyone pleaded with him later to forgive the girl. The girl too pleaded. They got back together, but he told the girl he'll never marry her. She thought he would change his mind, so she got pregnant. He took care of the pregnancy and accepted the child. But he never married her. Years later, he married someone else.

Why take her back and stayed with her to the point of getting her pregnant, when he should’ve ended things once and for all? Because having a child with her means establishing a tie with her possibly for life.

Some Nigerians still think this is about politics or political correctness, without understanding that Nigeria as it is today is a failed state. For a country to get to a stage where terrorists would kill a retired major general and attend a handover ceremony simply means that the federal government of such country supports terrorism, after all this same terrorists killed a serving general and nothing happened.

I completely agree with this post that one of the biggest challenges in sustainable finance is not a lack of sustainability activity. In as much as I do not agree with or like all that @iamHSDickson said on a national TV yesterday, especially his claim of no one that is currently contesting as a presidential candidate being more competent than him. For me, this is more like an egoistic claim than reality. However, I think his strong personality is absolutely essential and critical to lead an opposition party in a time like this. Because the last thing anyone who genuinely want @PeterObi to run for 2027 presidential election, is to want him to do so through a party leadership like Abure and co. We may not agree with Seriake Dickson in some areas, but at the same time #Obidients should also remember that their top priority has always been PO regardless of the party he is contesting with. So, instead of throwing tantrum and attacking the very party leadership that PO represents as its presidential candidate, we all should channel that energy support, campaign, and deliver PO as the president of Nigeria in 2027.
