There was no need at all to make it about citizenship status. Racism also isn’t limited to someone’s inherent physical appearance.

I think it is a reference to choices made by people. The way I read it is that if someone has chosen to come from overseas to work in the NHS and then spends time complaining about that it is open to that person to make a choice to leave and work elsewhere in the world. I saw no reference to anyone's inherent physical characteristics so nothing racist was said at all.

Fridge for thee but not for me. When resident doctors talk about poor working conditions in the NHS, the UK immediately has the crab in a bucket mentality: it’s bad for everyone else too, why are doctors so elitist and special? We’re not saying that. But often we’re greeted with unpleasant reminders of how we can’t be treated with a shred of dignity. It’s a tiny thing. They’re always small things, but it sums up how we’re treated in the NHS. We are dehumanised and somehow expected to be grateful to our monopsony employer @NHSEngland @wesstreeting

@_karenmc @the_wise_party @RupraRoshan Is not the point that doctors should discuss such issues [the fridge] with their management? it is not an NHS problem, it is a local management issue. Any doctor who doesn't like the local working conditions is free to move to work elsewhere.

If you are a non UK citizen, and you do not like working for the NHS... the please, just don't. Just leave. We have thousands of British doctors, ready, willing, and more than able to replace you. :) and pls take your dependants with you. The UK will take care of our own once again. Screenshot this.

@beforedesire @jordynsleftbrow You’re welcome 😊 It can also vary on sports, so something that is prohibited in competition in gymnastics may not be prohibited in competition for hockey.

Most national team gymnasts get drug tested 3-4 times a year. In 2018 Simone was drug tested 9 times. That’s over 2x more than everyone else that year……I know her talent is unbelievable but damn. That’s a lot even compared to years prior where it was normally 4-5.
