@electric_nick_ Noise emissions for ANY vehicle should be limited as much as possible. Riders/Drivers who cherrish the sound (fair enough) should listen to simulated sound through headphones in the volume they like.

Unpopular opinion: I think combustion-engine motorcycles and mopeds should be phased out in Europe. It’s hard to justify that a single loud motorcycle can disturb hundreds, if not thousands, of people in densely populated cities, especially when quieter electric alternatives already exist. Noise pollution is also proven to have negative health effects. A reasonable first step would be to stop registering new ICE motorcycles, followed by gradually limiting where existing ones can operate, for example banning them in city centers or during nighttime hours. China has proven how quiet cities can be when you remove noise two-wheelers. @battleangelviv

Liebes @BILD Team, in diesem Beitrag gibt es keinerlei Informationen zum Baujahr und Modell. Es gibt frühe Modelle bei denen die Notentriegelung schlecht zugänglich ist aber dieses Problem ist längst erledigt. Jeder @Tesla hat heute eine gut zugängliche Notentriegelung jeder Türe und die nächsten Generationen bekommen die noch direkt in den Öffner integriert (Leicht ziehen = elektrisch, stark ziehen für manuelle Öffnung) Bitte detailliertere Recherche und Information anstatt diese Angstmacherei. Energiewende-Fans feiern sich immer für ihre ach so tollen Ideen. Wie zum Beispiel Parkplätze mit Solarzellen zu überdachen. Sie denken wirklich mit diesen volatilen Teilzeitstromproduzenten, die nichts als tote Fläche darstellen, etwas zur Weltrettung beitragen zu können. Wie wäre es stattdessen die Dächer zu begrünen? Die Autos wären weiterhin im Schatten. Fläche die sich stark aufheizt wird reduziert. Lebensraum für Pflanzen und Insekten wird geschaffen. Das Mikroklima wird verbessert und trägt zur Kühlung bei. Und es schaut dazu auch noch schöner aus. Wie ist Eure Meinung dazu?

So, it seems, that @SpaceX is like a big family that owns two businesses: 🚀 A rocket ship taxi company (the launch business) that takes things to space for people 🛰️ A WiFi business (Starlink) that uses satellites in space to give people internet Now, the rocket taxi is really popular. When other people want to use it, they have to pay a lot of money (i.e., ~$74mn vs. the $28mn @SpaceX charges @Starlink) — like taking an expensive cab. But when the WiFi business needs to send its satellites to space, it uses the family's own taxi — and the family charges itself a much cheaper price ($28mn). Like how your parents might drive you somewhere for free, but a stranger would have to pay for an Uber. This means the WiFi business looks really profitable, because it's not paying full price to get its satellites up there. And the rocket business looks like it's doing a lot of work for cheap — but that's okay because it's still in the family. So, it seems, now that everyone gets to look at the books... the WiFi business (@Starlink) is actually not at all profitable - i.e., to achieve breakeven, analysts assume each @Starlink launch must cost less than $50mn in total (satellites + launch combined); that implies a Falcon 9 launch is charged to @Starlink at under $28mn (less than half the ~$74mn market rate @SpaceX charges external customers). Hey @theinformation/@TMFAssociates... does this sound about right?

you're assuming the existing HW4 computer is plug and play with the rest of the components in a HW3 car. Which it most likely isnt. It would be a custom designed retrofit computer with its own development costs. Then shop time; service centers are already booked out months in advance. they cant handle another 700,000 influx of cars coming in. Factoring in all costs (not just hardware) very quickly exceed the total value of a HW3 car. Which is why it'll never happen. EVEN if we exclude development costs - (which we shouldn't) Tesla is looking at nearly 2 billion dollars to swap out just the 700,000 HW3 owners who paid for FSD. And that's all BEFORE @Tesla announces that unsupervised wont work on HW4 😂

@KarolineGosling Well, you need to understand that not everything is black and white. I can easily love Tesla and some parts of Elon, like all the technology stuff, and on the other hand deeply condemn things like MAGA/AFD admiration or tastless jokes about Zselenskyy or the Ukrain war in general

I honestly find it hilarious here in Germany how many people have stickers like this on their Teslas "I bought this before Elon went crazy" Elon was always crazy, that is why you are driving his car in Germany, even though everyone told him it would not work, and he never gave up. I saw someone who had "F Elon" on his new Model Y. So you hate Elon so much, but you know his cars are the best cars to buy in Germany? That to me is crazy. So if everyone is crazy, and these people all call Elon crazy... Maybe it is not Elon that is the problem or the crazy one? Germans are not thankful enough for Elon 💔

📍So läuft der EU-weite Prozess 🇪🇺 für FSD Supervised jetzt ab: 1.Die RDW meldet die Zulassung direkt an die EU-Kommission und alle 27 Mitgliedstaaten. Dieser Schritt ist offenbar bereits erfolgt oder läuft seit gestern. 2.Anschließend erstellt die EU-Kommission einen Entwurf für eine implementierende Verordnung auf Basis von Artikel 39 der EU-Verordnung 2018/858. Dieser Schritt dürfte etwa 1 bis 4 Wochen dauern. 3.Danach stimmt das TCMV, also der technische Ausschuss für Kraftfahrzeuge, darüber ab. ✅ Dafür reicht eine einfache Mehrheit der Mitgliedstaaten. ✅ Bei Zustimmung würde die Freigabe für FSD Supervised EU-weit gleichzeitig in allen 27 Mitgliedstaaten gelten, also auch in Deutschland. ✅ Bei Ablehnung bleibt die Zulassung zunächst auf die Niederlande begrenzt. Einzelne Länder könnten die niederländische Zulassung dann aber national anerkennen. Tesla selbst rechnet aktuell mit einer möglichen EU-weiten Freigabe im Sommer 2026, also etwa zwischen Juni und August.

@niccruzpatane Logical. Tesla's move to have gear selector on the screen is just rubbish. Absolutely zero benefit, just inconvenience. Stalks are barely visible, removing them makes no sense from an aesthetic sense either.

In 2027, China will be effectively banning vehicles from having: • Fully flush (pop-out) or power-dependent exterior door handles. • Yoke-style Steering Wheels Additionally, China says essential features like: • Turn signals • Hazard lights • Gear selection/shifting • Windshield wipers/defrosters/defoggers • Power windows • Horn • ADAS (advanced driver assistance) activation Must have a physical way of activating, to prevent over-reliance on touchscreens/voice commands for critical functions.

Bin in der Mitfahrgelegenheit mit einem Tesla unterwegs (man beachte den Aufkleber...). Prinzipiell finde ich es gut, auch mal auf einer längeren Fahrt (400 km) eine solche Erfahrung zu machen, weil ich man nur mit eigenen Erfahrungen ein Urteil abgeben kann. Hier ein paar Punkte: - die Reichweite liege bei rund 500 km, wenn man nur 90 kmh fahren würde. Fährt man schneller (120-130 kmh) und lädt den Akku so, wie das empfohlen wird, um ihn zu schonen, dann lädt man ihn so zw. 5-10 % bis maximal 80 %, wodurch die Reichweite auf rund 200 km sinkt - 20 Minuten Pause auf 400 km, um zu laden - was natürlich kein Problem sei ("da beantworte ich meine Mails, man braucht sowieso alle 200 km spätestens eine Pause") - Geschwindigkeit 120-140 kmh max. - er könne nicht verstehen, wie jemand noch einen Verbrenner fahren kann. In einen Diesel mit 250.000 km würde er seine Kinder nicht setzen, viel zu gefährlich. Wieso, konnte er mir nicht erklären ("der Motor!" ???). - der "Auto-Pilot" (also die Assistenzsysteme, automatisiertes Fahren wäre theoretisch möglich, ist aber aufgrund der Gesetzeslage abgeschaltet) ist grausam. Der haut voll in die Eisen, weil sich ein LKW auf der zweiten Spur vermeintlich zu weit nach links bewegt hat (er hat den Streifen nicht mal berührt). Er hat auch bei einem Stau immer extrem in die Eisen, statt sanfter abzubremsen, was problemlos möglich wäre - die Verarbeitung im Innenraum unterscheidet sich mMn nicht sonderlich von einem Verbrenner der Mittelklasse wie meinem Skoda Octavia RS TDI 2.0 von 2016 (der hier dürfte nicht älter sein als 2020 vermute ich) - Kosten: mit 35k km und 2 Jahren hat er ihn vor ein paar Jahren für 40k € gekauft - laut seiner Aussage benötige er 60 % der Kosten für Strom im Vergleich zu einem Verbrenner - die Kosten für Inspektion etc. sollten auch deutlich unter jenen eines Verbrenners liegen Alles in allem hat man also deutlich höhere Kosten für den Kauf und deutlich niedrigere Kosten für den Unterhalt. Wenn ich jedoch alle Faktoren einbeziehe - Kosten, ständige Wartezeit, niedrige Geschwindigkeit etc. - käme so ein Auto für mich niemals in Frage. Wie seht Ihr das?
