Summer Ganji annoys me quite a bit. I think if you want to make your brown character have a tan, maybe actually tan them instead of making them ashy in the non-tanned area. Or just don't give them a tan if you can't commit to it

@mi_mirawa Yeah, I've seen some people say he got more popular but honestly I hardly see it. It's an influx of people from a fanservice skin and him being in game3 which is popular but neither translate into actually liking his character 😭 just porn and him being ooc in game3 art

@_kiirezii the fandom i thought he had really doesn’t exist. nobody actually cares about him. they only care for his looks and ships. they don’t see him beyond that threshold

@roguefortidv I'm rambling atp I'm just super sad about blk Ganji.. I remember trying to force myself to like him but the second they revealed his head design I was so let down. At least he's purple?? Idk 🥲

@roguefortidv Not that Ganji necessarily HAS to have curls in canon, but I feel like his yarn being noticably thicker than it is for characters with straight hair has to imply. Something?? Maybe I've just stared at his model for too much but unique yarn felt like it implied that for others 🙁

@roguefortidv Yea, I just really don't like the random removal with everything else on top of it.. who is this guy 😞 I really hope his second form saves it, even if it'll take a long time to come. He gets 1 skin a year so if 2 of the guaranteed ones end up being shitty idk what I'd even do

@_kiirezii I don't know, I just have so many things to say on this and I'm already oversharing enough so yea that's so much I can say. Leaving FB was truly the best decision I've ever made. I'd rather have the entire FB IDV fandom at my throat than entertaining those people any further.

Sometimes I'll see people say that idv fandom is too negative but honestly, I think we should all complain more. Every girl has their features get removed, dark characters get whitewashed so badly they're unrecognizable, they have obvious biases where certain characters-

@roguefortidv Yeahh, and honestly even without these things imo the skin just has soo many issues.. teamed with Aesop, baseball player for no reason, super straight hair. Just unnecessary, they gave Lily slightly wavy hair and gave Ganji Goku hair 💔 zero redeeming qualities

@roguefortidv He didn't even keep any of his design basics, though Naib almost never looks like himself. Maybe his fans are used to it, a lot of them depict him as some frail anime boy so maybe they liked it. I don't know.. he's super ugly though

@roguefortidv It honestly makes me quite mad that Ganjis first s tier accessory is not only echoes, but attached to the release of a possibly whitewashed skin. I still hope he'll be fine, he looked ok (skin tone wise) in the trailer, but the poster and merch.. I'm really nervous about him :(

@_kiirezii It also just destroys the one thing that made idv interesting compared to other 4v1 games. Now they only have the doll eyes which literally don’t make sense on their more realistic and human looking models without stitching or stuffing. It’s just fucking dumb. It pisses me off.

@affosugar Jokers prosthetic, girls losing their scars in almost every skin, even smaller things like Amanda already having TWO out of three skins remove her bloodshot eyes. Why?? Even include these things??? If they can't actually KEEP them in cosmetics???? It's so bizarre

@affosugar It makes me so so sad, and while idv is actively making characters slimmer and slimmer we have fans getting angry at others for pointing it out 😂😂 useless. Netease removes characters disabilities/scars way too often while adding prosthetics in skins for cool factor, it's a joke

@roguefortidv I think the people who make the models are just incredibly awful. I don't know if they're instructed to try and make the characters come off as pale as they can possibly get away with, but William, Patty and Ganji all (usually) look fine in shop sprites and posters..

@roguefortidv No same, I got him for collection but I regret it so bad because he's such a shitty skin. It makes me really sad. I really hope blk Ganji isn't as awful, I'm not spending money on him if he is 😭 it would suck for his one yearly skin to be ugly whitewashed slop

@_kiirezii I literally only got it so my collection would show I have every skin. He looks so awful it makes me so fucking upset cause the outfit itself is really good fanservice but he’s so twiggy and has zero body mass and is literally just bones it’s not even laughable

@roguefortidv Also it's so odd to me that netease gave him two fanservice skins in a row while being incredibly racist about him in lore and sidelining him. I like the designs but mannn, really rushed to strip him after making him get hate crimed in lore

@roguefortidv Fucked up face model, whitewashed ashy model, SO. SKINNY. JTS CREEPY. LIKE ACTUALLY I can't look at him in matches. I got the skin on release and have barely used it because he's uncomfortable to look at. A waste of a nice design too
