This kind of movie is just completely gone from culture. Financed by Disney, it's an original, personal, mainstream, tearjerking period piece starring multiple Oscar winners. It wasn't a hit, didn't garner awards attention, it isn't amongst the first 15 films you'd cite when thinking of any of its actors. It isn't particularly remarkable and has no active cult fandom. When my wife runs out of an item, she goes to her closet and opens it up and retrieves a brand new item. Shampoo, conditioner, face wash, toothpaste, lotion, you name it. It’s the most grown-up behavior I have ever consistently witnessed. She is never without any of her items!
