In Feb we started a long process to move to out of the UK. Since then we got engaged, then married 7 weeks later, filled out a mountain of paperwork, I turned 30, and finally… …on Sunday we’ll be moving to Brooklyn! 🗽 It’s feeling more and more surreal the closer it gets.

Sigh, clickbait take. It’s a great time to build for everyone, especially developers and especially agile learners (which could be anyone). The more you know about how it works, the better your prompts and reviews, the better and more sustainable your output.

@steipete Sometimes I wanna use AIs via autocompletion rather than prompting. When there's a 3-5 line thing want, it feels a bit easier to do from the cursor in the IDE rather than saying "hey claude go to this file at this line do this..." What do you do in that case?

Should I just get an email soon telling me that I need to upgrade to Max?

It's so confusing that Claude Code doesn't make it clear as to how much of your allowance you've used and when you've hit any limits. According to claude-monitor, I'm 371% over? Like what? Anthropics site says 10-40 prompts per 5 hours. I'm at least 30 prompts or so by now.

@_kylejs_ Spent way too much time trying go make the tomenizer faster than JavaScript, but Swift just isn’t as good or fast. Calendar parsing alone is so much faster in JS.

day 20 of building in public and posting every day on X it's been some incredible 20 days (100 → 3.3k followers 🤯) , thanks for the support guys today I: - set up a new "landing page instagram" - designed conversion-focused highlights like faq, reviews, etc - dm'd 30 influencers - spent lots of time refining the life plan prompt, not quite where i want to today's results: - 9 new trials - $35+ revenue (now at $310 MRR) - +10 users (now at 1049)

Just did the math and I'm surprised to see that the Delta Platinum pairs really nicely with the Amex Platinum if you travel a lot, specifically with Delta (obv). The cards cost a combined $1,250 p/y (if you add an additional card holder for each) and give us $5,000 p/y.

These are the goals I wrote down for 2025; the 3rd and 5th goals are specifically about this. I've posted a couple of blog posts which has felt great. Would love any advice or thoughts from those who can relate!
