@Jalphpilled 💖 its honestly why my roger switches his hair up too to show off the paint/loyalty but his rawest desire is so himself rather than jack so his hair changes to be in his face, it covering the paint illustrates how technically roger is a threat to the hierarchy with his desire

@Jalphpilled id like to think that its because their desires are so primal/animalistic that their paint is like that. personally in my depictions i also use the paint however to illustrate the loyalty to jack (especially with the choir)

@_lelol And I love the idea of each boy painting a different “beast” for their facepaint.. some are depicted as rotting skulls and others are depicted as dirty beasts

@Jalphpilled yess yes this is definitely true, it gives them the confidence to actually fulfill their desires obviously some are more extreme than others(roger) and to illustrate that these desires are not the social expectation they are depicted to be ugly and monstrous
