We inherited a broken NHS, which is why I was determined to fix it. Today shows our Plan for Change is working: Over 3 million extra NHS appointments delivered since July. Waiting lists are down for the sixth month in a row. That's the difference a Labour government makes.

We promised 2 million more NHS appointments. We have delivered 3 million. We promised to cut waiting lists. We have cut them by 219,000 - six months in a row! There’s a long road ahead, and there’ll be bumps along the way. But Labour has put the NHS on the road to recovery.
