I don’t know if many of us have listened to the story of this young man and his estranged wife, but honestly, I feel like he deserved everything she did to him and maybe even more. Men like this deserve no pity. Because whenever we try to educate men about the nature of some women, you’ll always find men like this in the comment section, confidently spewing nonsense. They’ll say, “I know someone it worked for,” but that “someone” is never them or even anyone close to them. They'll not listen and learn until it happened to them. You don’t raise a woman above your standard. Women are hypergamous by nature, I’ve said this here countless times. Hypergamy means women are generally attracted to men they perceive as higher in status, value, or stability. The moment you raise her standard above yours, you risk losing her to a man she perceives as higher than you. Before you do anything for a woman, do it for yourself first. Before buying her a car or a house, buy for yourself first and make yours even bigger. Before sending her abroad to study, either go with her or make sure you’ve already established yourself at that level. Don’t stay in Nigeria, funding a lifestyle you’re not part of, only for another man to step into the life you helped build. This “savior of the universe” met a divorced woman and rushed to marry her within a few months because he believed he knew better than her ex-husband. He probably believed the ex didn’t deserve such a good woman. Enyaaa. He didn’t bother to investigate or find out what the man saw before running for his life. Mr. Messiah. He sent her to school while he stayed back in Nigeria, sending money and playing the supportive husband role. Oga, what stopped you from going abroad first? What stopped you from investing in your own growth, enrolling in school, or building yourself to a certain level before doing all that for someone else?
