@js7___ Tbf there's only Wycombe below us can make any claim to deserve to be above us but they've been a bit too inconsistent. I'm very confident we're better than all the rest of them

@mtfcH__ @Skibidi_Stags Yeah McDonnell is the much better player I would agree. But I think if you're playing McDonnell you need a 4231 to get him and Reed in, and I just don't think Clough is that comfortable sending teams out in that set-up

@mtfcbrandon Also his pace comments were echoed by most of our own fans. Rhys Oates' return to fitness and form wasn't really anticipated by most of our fans or people from the outside. We had also not signed Tyler Roberts at the time of writing. Still - don't write off Clough is the lesson

@mtfcbrandon Tbf Gab does great research and is very knowledgeable. A lot of what he said was true, I think he just wrongly wrote off some of our existing players. The comments on Reed, FBT, Bowery etc. being L2 players was wrong and probs a distorted view based on last years end of year form

@SirthomasVIII @ReeceDSport A side will likely go down on 50 points, hasn't happened in 7 years. Bottom has 35, the second highest in 7 years (with 2 left). There are very few poor sides which creates lower points tallies at the top. Leagues don't change much in strength, how could they?

On another note, if you want to see the downfall in quality of League One football since we won the league then you just need to look at the table and see that Stevenage are going to get play offs. Awful team and potentially the worst ever to make the L1 playoffs #pafc

@ReeceDSport Also, it's stronger because of sides like Stevenage and Lincoln that have exceeded expectations on small budgets

@ReeceDSport Most leagues rarely change in strength much, obviously. Weird how fanbases think leagues are at their strongest when they win them. L1 is slightly stronger at present and that's best demonstrated by the increased struggles of relegated championship sides that don't strengthen

@olib__03 @mansfieldtownfc Feels unusual to play them both in the reserve games if we're letting them both go though. Surely just don't risk them getting injured and let them build up for new clubs? Dunno might be optimism cos I like them both🤣

@_mighty_quinn_ @mansfieldtownfc And yeah maris i think got re injured i read in the notts reserve game, came off after 10 as a precaution which probably confirms he won’t stay just with these injuries. never know tho

@olib__03 @mansfieldtownfc Bowery and Maris unsure if that's injury related with them both being out long term? Think Clough said the other week he was looking to play them both before the end of the season. The other 3 are definites and yh those other two I'd have as 50/50
