Keep thinking about that first day of term in September and what will hopefully be the first day with my own class, introducing myself as their teacher and getting prepared to build a safe, encouraging and inspiring classroom together. Anyone else?🌈✨

Lots of tweets flying around about people feeling guilty for not doing school work. In any other profession if you take annual leave there would be no expectation to do work. In teaching you can't book annual leave - taking time off during school holidays is more than acceptable!
