This afternoon, we had the pleasure of meeting and asking questions to artist @carolinecoates. We are looking forward to seeing our St Teresa’s ‘Missionaries of Kindness’ Bench when it is finished and enjoyed making our own mark on the bench. 🖌️🎨 #sjsbart

We have had a great afternoon at the Primary Science Challenge at @StGabsBury. We took part in lots of interesting science investigations and scored 2nd place for our enthusiasm and effort towards each task! 🧪🥼🔬 #sjsbscience @StJosephStBede

Class 6 celebrated #WorldMusicDay by exploring storytelling through ballads, which inspired us to write and perform our own class ballad! We then spent time listening to Jazz music, creating doodle art based on how the music made us feel #sjsbmusic @StJosephStBede 🎶

In science, we have been investigating whether our femur length affects how far we can jump. We found that the longer the femur, the further we can jump but that other factors also affect this such as how strong our leg muscles are and our jumping technique. 💪🦴#sjsbscience

During our annual St Bede’s week, we are focusing on our school as our common home in honour of Pope Francis. We have been working hard to improve our outdoor areas by planting, pulling up weeds, tidying and clearing rubbish. 🏠🌼🌿🪴 #sjsbclm #laudatosi

This morning, the children spent a whole school worship together to mark the start of the holy month of Mary. We then placed flowers around our Mary statue. 🌷💐 #sjsbworship #sjsbRE
