I have played Genshin till Fontaine(left in Natlan). But ngl I felt zero attachment to Furina as a character. Focalor was a great character tho but compared to Denia and Aemeath's writing, she's Aight...
I'm sorry but Hoyo really don't know how to write an emotional story.

Cannot write female characters?? I think you are the one who played genshin story from twitter. Furina is the best written female character compared to Aemeath, phrollova and Denia. Not even close at all.

All things considered aside from the generic shorts, I think they nailed Tsaritsa's design relatively well, especially her bare shoulders. Even the colors fits the snow queen.

@fawnmalori @teruhashi0301 The male characters have started suffering from this only recently. Partly also because we got less of them, we had a bit more variety and they felt more coherent with their nation. Some of the recent ones are good, but others are boring compared to the older ones

@hrtmoji The issue is not the design itself, is the constant repetition of the same one over and over. Navia's design is done well, it fits the nation she's in, and is overall balanced. It also fits her personality perfectly and there's no need for excuses to explain it.

@FatuiTsaritStar I just have a hard time believing they are playable given the state of things. Or at least playable in this version. Alice not being playable in Luna just confirmed to me that seeing characters in the teaser doesn't mean they will be playable during that version

@CEOofRonova Signora has a tasteful sexy design that is unique to her character, which is why she's more liked nowadays. And if the fae are built for the cold, then explain why the men are covered head to toe and the women HAVE to show skin without saying "it's a gacha game"

I find it very hypocritical how people will create excuses over the female designs when it's a character they like vs one they don't.
You all suddenly read lore and know everything about Signora and her very revealing dress that she wears in Snezhnaya, but that's completely fine because we love Signora and she has lore reasons.
But then you'll happily ignore that the large majority of Snezhnayan's are Fae who are built for the cold and also don't need 10 layers of clothes, now suddenly it's sexualized and doesn't make sense?
You can't look at Danica, call her entire designed sexualized and needs to be covered up and in the same breath glaze Signora's design because you like her even though she has the classic shoulder + armpit combo, random cut outs in her dress and arm sleeves.
If you're gonna stand on something then go all the way and stop half assing it because you just sound ridiculous

@F1SCHLS Sumeru has the best designs for me in terms of variety tbh, can never be topped by any other nation. I love even the characters I don't like, and always felt like genshin to me. Natlan I just didn't like as a whole what they did with it designs and story, I just like Iansan :(

@aniaothj Different delivery as a whole, and people generally liked the color scheme more. Also you can argue "fiction" all you want, but the location matters if you want a bit more immersion. Emilie's short skirt is less out of place when you look at environment coherence
