Amaterasu rerolls will be leveraging @Aptos' On-Chain Randomness. Unlike traditional collections with static traits, our PFPs are randomly generated at the moment of reveal. This is possible because the metadata for each NFT is not predetermined at mint (metadata is not pre-fixed). What this means for the collection: - New traits can be added to the metadata. Properties are not On-Chain (hence creativity and flexibility of traits) - Collaborative opportunities with existing IPs in both Web2 and Web3 (IPs turned into traits) - Unlocks the possibility of limited trait drops for a fixed duration (if limited traits are no longer available, re-rolling or re-revealing the NFT will cause the trait to be forfeited and no longer attainable, unless traded on the marketplace) - Prevents gaming the system, trait farming, and sniping rare traits Preservation of Revealed NFTs: - If there's a NFT you like, transferring the NFT between wallets will maintain the revealed NFT - Transferring Tokens between wallets will revert revealed NFTs to unrevealed (Spellbound Scrolls)
