At Pulicat Lake in Thiruvallur district near Chennai, flamingos create a magical spectacle, their pink hues shimmering across the waters and transforming the landscape into a living canvas. Pulicat is India’s second-largest brackish water lagoon, after Chilika Lake & shares its borders with Tamil Nadu & Andhra Pradesh. Lying along the Central Asian Flyway, its nutrient-rich mudflats serve as vital feeding grounds, drawing thousands of flamingos each season from distant regions #Pulicatlake #flamingoes video @tnforestdept

For talks to succeed either one side should have won comprehensively; or both sides should be exhausted completely; or both sides realise its a stalemate. Neither of these conditions obtain. US thinks its won, but its desperation for a deal suggests it is a stalemate; Iran doesn't think its lost and its confidence that it controls all aces suggests that it has won. How can there be a deal?

This is an unnecessary and unreasonable overreach proposed by @GoI_MeitY via their draft IT Rules. There’s so much better that we can offer to the world in terms of a balanced approach towards policy and tech, let this not be it ~ by shutting people’s ability to call out falsehoods via community notes.

Dear Indian Army Chief Upendra Dwivedi, While you were busy playing an interfaith guru chanting “sabka maalik ek hai” suicidal nonsense dressed as nobility, Pakistan had already asked the religion of Pahalgam victims and shot them down point blank as they were Hindus. Pakistan didn’t check any timing before bombing our temples or targeting our gurudwaras. India is done with such obsolete and redundant moral equivalence games. India needs ruthless and decisive victory. Kindly work on your communication, articulation, and messaging which clearly aren’t your forte. Thank you!

"During Op Sindoor, we would not strike at a time when those on the other side were doing namaz prayers. Because sabka malik ek hain," says Army Chief Upendra Dwivedi

This is a remarkable true story of a critically endangered Hawksbill turtle and her journey back home from the shores of Chennai to the pristine waters of the Gulf of Mannar covering a distance of around 600 Kms by road and then by a boat. On 8th March 2026, the injured turtle was found stranded along the Chennai coastline, weak and in urgent need of care. She was rescued by @tnforestdept and taken to the Besant Memorial Animal Dispensary (BMAD) where a dedicated team began the fight to save her life. Under the expert care of Dr. Sridhar, Forest Vet from Guindy Zoo and Dr. Josika, Vet from BMAD, the turtle underwent thorough evaluation, including a CT scan. The diagnosis was serious, a collapsed lung. What followed was an intense period of treatment, monitoring, and unwavering commitment. For nearly 30 days, the team worked tirelessly to stabilize and rehabilitate her. Once she was strong enough her journey continued. She was carefully transported from Chennai to Tuticorin, and then to the serene Kariyachalli Island in the Gulf of Mannar, her natural habitat. There, in crystal-clear waters, she was finally released back into the wild. This incredible rescue and rehabilitation would not have been possible without the relentless efforts of @KrishnanShravan at BMAD and @tnforestdept Team. Their dedication gave this endangered creature a second chance at life. Kudos ! #Hawksbillturtle
