Forgot to share this Whiles going through PPA’s website, I noticed two interesting procurements made by Sam George’s Ministry of Communications. They procured what they described as “coding-customized laptops and projectors” for over GHC 250 million. I suspect this is for the 1 million coders program. The contract was split between two companies; Infinity Quantum Limited’s contract was worth over 248 million whiles Dynamic Access limited’s contract is worth an innocent 2 million. If only we could do an entity search on Dynamic Access and find out who are the directors of that company and the date of incorporation…it’s always the small contracts. Too bad RGD does not allow entity search on its website anymore.

But Ghana already has the Ghana Card biometric database with over 17 million records. The NIA infrastructure exists. The question is not whether we have zero infrastructure. The question is why we are not using what we already built instead of starting over for the fourth time in 15 years.
