@Iamphil15 @BrooksSolveig @bchesky @Airbnb I do see a difference. This is a major release that changes the meaning of what Airbnb does for its users. To me, this is going from “where would you like to stay” to “here is our network of possibilities”, changing your idea of what Airbnb can be. Most companies don’t do that

@BrooksSolveig @bchesky @Airbnb Sorry to say but that’s just basic product mgmt and roadmap planning. Exists for years and nothing fancy.

The bigger story that no one is talking about: @Airbnb is doing "releases". They're working off a company wide roadmap, which means more alignment and better prioritization. And the centralized release makes it easier for users to notice and understand what's changed.
