في يوم عرفة، اقتحمت مليشيات العملاء منازل الأهالي في مخيم المغازي وسط قطاع غزة، واعتدوا عليهم واختطفوا عدداً منهم. وعند تصدي الشبان لهجماتهم، أطلقت مسيرة إسرائيلية صاروخاً على تجمع للشبان، مما أدى إلى استشهاد خمسة منهم.
قبل قليل أيضاً، هاجم الجيش الاسرائيلي مركبة شرق خان يونس، مما أدى إلى استشهاد اثنين.
