Nakaka frustrate lang isipin na si Sen. Risa na middle class upbringing, single parent for many years, activist with a soldier husband, yan pa ung iniisip nilang hindi relatable. Samantalang ung anak ng fiscal at mayor for many years, in-embrace nila as “simple lang”

Just like last time a Marcos was in Malacañang, his replacement will likely be a woman. I pray it’s one of these two.

There’s a general rule of evidence that previous acts cannot be used as evidence of present action. But I think in Jinggoy’s case, previous involvement has got to be proof of guilt. A 100% innocent man cannot be implicated in plunder 3 times. Pattern? Habit? Impunity.

I sometimes wonder if SenRi has the reverse effect of pretty privilege: where the masa assume she is elitist and unrelatable bec she looks, speaks and behaves so beautifully elegant.

But on the bright side, there are a lot who say she’s fierce and a viable alternative, in case Leni sticks with not running. There’s also no real reason to think she’s unsuitable apart from typical dds brand propaganda. In any case, there’s potential for an alternative candidate.

Learning a lot about opinions re: Sen Ri and possible presidential bid: 1) there are those who dislike her simply bec they want Leni 2) some disike her bec she is not winnable 3) dds paint her as incompetent 🤡 citing her use of index cards 4) dds also redtags her (whats new)

I don’t know what’s worse: that he’s been accused more than once, even jailed a couple of times, bec of plunder — or that he still won a senate seat after that 😬

Balakayodyan. Ang point ko lang naman ay if Leni insists on not running, all is not lost bec we have Risa, who is ALSO a good option. My bad for not reading the shade from the comparison but there isn’t a reason to argue with me bec we’re actually rooting for the same side 🤷‍♀️

As there is no edit button, here’s a clarification: I don’t agree with Trillanes’ shade with the second statement. I am merely pointing out the difference in strengths: leni inspires, risa is fierce. Both women are effective leaders and either one would make a great president.

Much as I love Leni as a presidentiable, I think the PH will also benefit from this energy from Risa. She’s good governance with teeth. Someone said before: si Leni ipaglalaban mo, pero si Risa ilalaban ka.

The senate majority is filled with narcissists who love to gaslight and play the victim. Lahat gusto ng soft treatment eh hindi naman nila deserve

Ma’am not everything is about you po 😬 sobrang off-tangent nung comment ni Loren about 2004. Sen Kiko makes perfect sense here. Bakit walang debate? Bakit nagba-bypass ng procedure? For whose benefit and for what purpose?

@Derick020723 Just to clarify, the comparison i made is not to put one over the other (unlike Trillanes, if he meant it as a shade). Just pointing out that both public servants have their strengths and whether we get Leni or Risa, the Ph wins.

@Derick020723 I’m not aware of the shade, i just remember the distinction. Both are good qualities: we want leni (ipaglalaban mo) bec she inspires-that is her strength. But we also win if we get risa bec her ferocity is also a strength lalo at sobrang blatant ng violations ng ibang pulitiko

Yes. Which places the ball on the Executive’s court. They need to act fast by enforcing the warrant and turning him over to the ICC so when the final decision comes out, it becomes a moot order regardless of the final ruling.

That contract won’t hold. You cannot contractually obligate anyone to be an accessory to a crime. If you committed obstruction of justice, it is one’s civic duty to report on it, and to cooperate in the investigation and prosecution if called to testify.
