그림에 빛과 명암을 넣는 이유 당연히 그렇게 해야된단 이유 말고 다르게 설명해보자면, 한장의 그림에 변화를 줄수있는 방법이 그것밖에 없기 때문이다. 여기서 말하는 변화는 눈의 즐거움, 리드미컬하게 읽히는 무언가다. 가끔 이걸 설명할때 이벤트라고 말할때가 있는데, 가성비 좋은 방법이다. 그런데 그림에 이벤트를 만드는 방법이 하나 더 있다. 그게 디자인이다. 캐릭터 한정으로 말해보면 코디, 컨셉 그런것들, 어떤것이든 된다. 밑색을 여러개 부여할수있는 무언가이면 된다. 그래서 잘 디자인된 캐릭터는 명암을 굳이 안넣어도 그 자체로 이쁘다 똑같은 박자에 변화를 주어야 리듬이 되고, 그 리듬을 들었을때 흥겨워 지듯이 규칙적인 명도에 서로다른 불규칙이란 변화를 주어야 뇌는 그걸 해석(무의식이라서 못 알아챔) 하며 즐거움을 얻는것 같다. 아마 적절한 난이도의 게임을 클리어 했을때 재미를 느끼는 보상심리랑 같을듯
