#MarchMadness Scouting Notebook📓⏩ @BYUMBB vs. Texas AJ Dybantsa put on a show on Thursday at the Moda Center. His body control as a mover, offensive polish, multi-level scoring, mid-range prowess, vision + timing as a passer, and ability to generate a paint touch + draw contact especially stood out. 35p-10r on a perfect 12-12 from the FT line for the future lottery pick

#MarchMadness Scouting Notebook📓⏩ @BYUMBB vs. Texas Robert Wright III didn’t wow statistically (14p-2r-3a-2s), but continued to flash translatable traits in his shifty handle, ability to absorb contact while maintaining balance as a driver, advanced footwork while creating space, as well as his patience as a decision-maker. Terrific step in the right direction as a sophomore in Provo

#MarchMadness Scouting Notebook📓⏩ @TexasMBB vs. BYU 6’8” junior big guard and SEC Newcomer of the Year Dailyn Swain filled the box score as per usual, impacting winning in a variety of ways en route to 14p-5r-6a-1s. His positional size on the perimeter, lanky frame, functional handle, playmaking, finishing touch, and all-around versatility really popped. Skilled, toolsy prospect with legitimate NBA upside

#MarchMadness Scouting Notebook📓⏩ @TexasMBB vs. BYU Sixth-year lefty guard Tramon Mark helped set the tone early with his range shooting and defensive intensity. Each of his six stocks seemed to help swing the game’s momentum. He’s been hot from deep in the tourney (45.4 3P% in 2 GP this week — up from ~32% on the season) and he iced the game at the FT line, in this one. His final line: 19p-4r-2a-4b-2s

#MarchMadness Scouting Notebook📓⏩ @TexasMBB vs. BYU Sophomore Lithuanian big Matas Vokietaitis imposed his will from the jump, notching a double-double in the 1H. His interior presence was undeniable, as he extended seemingly countless possessions on O (9oreb) and used his size to deter shots on D. He finished with 23p-16r-1b on 10-17 FG. Struggled mightily down the stretch from the FT line, but all-in-all, a stock-rising performance from the seven-footer in the win.

Scouting Notebook📓⏩ @NevadaHoops vs. Murray State Vaughn Weems and Corey Camper, Jr. carried the Wolf Pack to an 89–75 opening round NIT victory, combining for 40 points on 17/28 shooting, 13 rebounds, 7 assists, a steal, and a block in a highly efficient and controlled performance. Both played extremely well off the ball — decisive in their actions, constantly putting themselves in the right spots and capitalizing within the flow. Weems continued his strong second half surge, showing confidence and scoring punch, while Camper remained steady as ever, operating as a reliable mid-range threat coming off curls and screens. Their balance and efficiency set the tone, powering the Wolf Pack with a poised, connected offensive effort.

Scouting Notebook📓⏩ @RacersHoops vs. Nevada 🇫🇷 freshman Roman Domon delivered an intriguing all-around performance despite the loss — flashing upside with the ball in his hands, where his guard-like skills at 6’9” allow him to bring the ball up and initiate offense. He was at his best going downhill, using his stride and handle to attack as a slasher, putting pressure on the rim and drawing contact. He played with solid feel, not forcing the action while contributing across the board. Finished with 17p-7r-3a-1s — a well-rounded stat line that reflected his versatility and long-term upside.

Pro Insight Player Spotlight 🔦 👤 Stefan Joksimovic (2008 🇷🇸) 🏀 @Baskonia 📌 #NextGenEuroLeague 💡Monster 38p-10r-3a-2b performance from Joksimovic, who buried multiple Dončić-style deep step-back 3s and controlled the offensive tempo throughout the game. He showcased his versatility by slashing to the rim, initiating plays, and finishing through contact. He also popped on the defensive end, where he routinely disrupted action and provided rim protection 📸 @EuroLeague

Pro Insight Player Spotlight 🔦 👤 Bam Paschal 🏀 @CCHoopsPdx 🎓 2026 📌 #opreps 6A State Tournament 💡The unsigned, underrated senior led the Rams with 23 points, all of which came after halftime. He was extremely efficient and found his spots throughout the entirety of the 2H. Bam went 6-10 from the field and 10-11 from the stripe in the 23p-5r-2a-2s outing. He has an innate ability to absorb contact and play through it on his way to the rim. His energy and effort on the offensive glass helped create multiple scoring opportunities. Earned well-deserved First-Team All-Tournament honors

Pro Insight Player Spotlight 🔦 👤 Pat Vialva, Jr. 🏀 @MensTualatin 🎓 2027 📌 #opreps 6A State Tournament 💡Simply put, PVJ was unfazed by a late deficit and took the game into his own hands — the junior guard put the team on his back, scoring 6 of his 27 points in the final 5 seconds of the game — to win the 6A title. He was efficient, going 8-13 overall and 5-8 from 3. His impact wasn’t just felt in the scoring column, as he collected a game-high 7 rebounds. First Team All-Tourney in our 📖
