New preprint from our lab @NCIResearchCtr ! We found that Staph aureus evolves tolerance to pyocyanin produced by Pseudomonas aeruginosa via CodY mutations. This project was started by @microbiosara as the lab's first postbac, and then led by @TMartini_ #Saureus #Paeruginosa 1/2

The students from my lab course made me these adorable animals ❤️❤️❤️. I’m going to miss them - they meshed into such a tight-knit group by the end of the semester and always had loads of enthusiasm for class and really great questions!

My PhD advisor used to ask “Are you doing the right thing?” He didn’t know exactly what you were doing, he just wanted you to check in with yourself. These days when the Vince voice that lives in my head asks if I’m doing the right thing, all the inner Mona voice does is scream.
