@_ragegun @JadeAtrophis When did the change the lore? Because it used to be that TIE fighters were manufactured to be as cheap and lightweight as possible and it was cheaper to put the pilot in a space suit instead of a life-support system.
The Rogue Squadron games mention it.

You're thinking of the OTHER TIE fighter in the movie with hyperspace capabilities, the TIE Scout, that looks exactly the same as a normal TIE and that Kylo just found perfectly intact in the Death Star II wreckage that has been sitting there for 30 years
I am referring to the normal bog standard First Order TIE/sf with hyperdrive AND hyperspace tracking found at the beginning of the film

This is bigger than it looks.
A modder just turned a PS5 into a Linux gaming PC.
GTA 5 running at 1440p 60FPS with ray tracing.
But here’s the real shift:
Parts of this work are now entering Linux itself.
• PS5 GPU support showing up in Mesa
• Patches being added to AMDGPU drivers
• No longer just a one-off hack
This shows:
• Console hardware = basically PC hardware
• Limitations are software, not power
• Future consoles might just be locked PCs
We’re getting closer to full convergence
