Officials in South #Waziristan have apologised for the killing of a school teacher in a drone attack. Tribal tradition of "Nanawate" (seeking forgiveness” was organised at the home of school teacher Muhammad Nawaz, who was killed in an alleged quadcopter attack yesterday in Mehsud area, Tehsil Ladha of South Waziristan Upper. Two children were injured in the attack. Malik Irfanuddin Barki, other local elders, SHO Ladha Muhammad Ghufran, Tehsildar Ladha Muhammad Noor Mehsud and representatives of the district administration of South Waziristan Upper participated in the “Nanawate.” The delegation offered Fateha for the elevation of the deceased's rank and expressed heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family.

Bacha Khan also used to say that Pashtuns and Hindus were one people. Pashtuns whether they larp as Islamists or secularists their love for Indians and Hindus is universal. They will accuse others of being Hindus when they themselves fully admit to being Cryto Hindus.
