@Doodlelot my bestie is online and it's funny because we both have irl friend groups/people we hang out with regularly but we're each other's confidant despite being far away.

It's such a special feeling when you know you're someone's favorite person. I've not had a best friend since elementary school and I'm fine with just having good friends now. But I'm not gonna lie, I'm really jealous of people who have best friends. I often feel so replaceable..

heya sorry for the little art lately, having quite some problems regarding energy, focus and concentration.
No matter how hard i try or how motivated i am, if my mind is in this recurring "tired/foggy" state I seem to draw way worse than i usually do.
Am trying to figure it out

I don't know what possessed me, but i made a short animation loop on paper! Its 12 fps soo i used 12 paper for this short gif. Wanted to try things out, maybe i could start learning animation, heh (• ω •)

@SuperSweetLucas @Miilfywayz imma be honest, i don't get it. you'll cancel their commission and never work with them again... thus encouraging/incentivizing them to use ai even more since theyre blacklisted by real artists? isn't it more productive to educate or talk it through?

Yes. Many, many, of the artists I work with will 100% cancel my commission and never work with me again if I send them an AI image reference. Justifiably so. You can very rarely get away with the whole "i didn't know it was AI" thing because it can be a slap in the face.
If it's an "artist" that uses AI then go for it.

Do you think it's wrong to use ai to show an artist a reference for something that you want to commission them and pay them for? I generally am curious of this.
example- I want this type of pose but I can only find anime ai art for ref.. Is it wrong to use that as ref ??

Really curious how the regular world would function if pokemon were real like what about pokemon in the workplace are they just allowed anywhere do they exist in offices do they help out or treated as pets actually do they have a criteria that decides if they're a pet or helper-

The issue of this technology goes beyond just art. Art requires you to think. It makes you use your mind. If you encourage the behavior of doing the opposite by making it "easier" then what is the point of new ideas? What is the point of improving? What is the point of your mind?

I don't get it really. Why are art schools slowly starting to push for a technology that could take over and replace the very students they are teaching that stuff for?? I would walk out there too. Paying so much money for a thing that could replace me. What a waste

My uni presented a pro gen-ai lecture to hundreds of art students today,most people walked out,complained to the uni head board and proceeded to have a 5 hour debate w the professors I’ve never seen people so unified 😭 i thought I was the only one that cared, there’s hope 😭 🙏
