I'm somewhat confused with `OsString` in Unix environments. Isn't it pretty much guaranteed that OS-level strings are basically nul-terminated? Why can we create them from an arbitrary buffer (with no nul checking)? cf. doc.rust-lang.org/1.77.2/std/os/…
