Good haul though - looks like they are yet again trying to play an archaic form of basketball despite Capel’s best success coming with a team that had great spacing and shooting.

Georgia Tech transfer Baye Ndongo is headed to Pittsburgh, source told @TheFieldOf68. The 6-9 junior averaged 11.8 points and 8.1 boards this past season. He's averaged 12.6 points and 8.5 rebounds over 90 career games at Tech. Really good pickup for Jeff Capel - especially considering he's working with a limited NIL budget.

JUST IN: Jeff Capel will return to Pitt next season, a source confirmed to CBS Sports. It was trending this way this week. Capel would've been owed more than $12 million if fired this season. He'll be back for a ninth year. Has one NCAAT trip in the past eight with the Panthers.
