My second highlighted game of Day 2 at the Marble City Invitational was a straight-up slugfest between ETA ‘27 Osborne and Lady Vision Fortner'27, a game built on toughness, grit, and heart from start to finish. Lady Vision came out swinging early, setting the tone with aggressive play and jumping out to a 12-3 lead after the first quarter. It looked like they might run away with it, but ETA had other plans. In the second quarter, they started to settle in, shots began to fall, and the energy flipped. Possession by possession, they chipped away at the lead until it was a one-point game at halftime, 19-18. The third quarter picked up offensively on both sides, with each team trading buckets and refusing to give an inch. Lady Vision held onto a slim 38-36 lead heading into the fourth, but you could feel the tension building with every trip down the floor. The final quarter was not for the faint of heart. ETA came out with relentless energy, taking the lead early with pure grit and determination. Lady Vision fought back every step of the way, refusing to fold, but ETA’s toughness and timely plays proved to be the difference as they completed the comeback and secured a hard-fought 47-44 win. ETA was led by #1 @Jerseyrae111, who poured in 11 points, knocking down 3 triples and adding 2 rebounds and a block. #11 @XyeJones added 9 points with 3 big threes of her own, along with 3 rebounds and 2 steals, delivering momentum-shifting plays when it mattered most. #10 @RussellMikinna anchored the effort with 6 points, 9 rebounds, 2 steals, and a block, while @PaytonRollins dominated the glass with 11 rebounds, adding 4 steals, 2 assists, and a block, showing exactly how to impact a game even when shots aren’t falling. Lady Vision was led by #31 @_scoutb31 with a game-high 14 points, adding 4 rebounds and a steal. #3 @lexie_Combs contributed 11 points and 2 rebounds, while #21 @Cfortner2028 added 10 points, 4 steals, and 4 rebounds in a strong all-around performance. This one had everything: early runs, momentum swings, and a fourth-quarter battle that came down to willpower. ETA’s comeback was fueled by effort, defense, and timely shooting in a game that could have gone either way. @IE_Showcase_ @riseupsports1

We stepped into one of the biggest tournament atmospheres, with over 100 teams competing & 10 courts all running under one roof. Lady Vision matched up against strong teams from three different states, No excuses, just results. Keep grinding, keep improving & keep stacking days!

We want to acknowledge some school records from a couple of our girls. Scout Brockman and Chloe Fortner became the 2nd and 3rd players in school history to score 1000 points in their sophomore seasons
