Every time I walk around the neighborhood with the baby in a carrier, the number one demographic that stops me to see the baby or wish me good fortune—by far—is elderly women. Not entirely sure why, but I’m here for it and all the blessings.

When debugging an obscure error message. Previously: - Spend significant amount of time going down the stack overflow rabbit hole. Now: - Use @cursor_ai to quickly highlight code and ask why you're getting the error - Get fairly accurate response with issue in seconds. Wild.

I woke up at 3:00am seven days in a row. I called 140 total matches. I studied, read and learned about wrestlers and their country’s history from all over the world. I fell in love with wrestling all over again. This is truly the greatest sport in the world. “This is the biggest day of their lives, be sure to honor the athletes and all of their friends and families watching from home.” See you all in LA 2028!

Does anyone else think that the 65 KG men’s freestyle wrestling weight class at the @Olympics is one of the deepest brackets we’ve seen in a while? Multiple former Olympic, World, Asian, European and Pan-American champions/medalists, all wrestling lights out. Such a treat!

A few critical early decisions define a startup's path to PMF At Udemy, the non-obvious decisions were: focusing on paid courses, having an open marketplace, running asynchronous courses. These were very contrarian decisions in 2008-2010 when we made them! At Maven, we're making a huge step forward today and I wonder if it will be one of our big non-obvious decisions. Today, we’re launching hybrid cohort-based courses - allowing instructors to blend both recorded content and live sessions into a more scalable and engaging course. For students, hybrid courses mean less time listening to live lectures, more hands-on exercises, reviewable video and written content, live Q&A, and live discussions with their peers. We used to feel dogmatic about live being the focus of a cohort-based course, but we’ve seen so many examples of amazing courses that students love that are hybrid. This 2 min video is a great overview of the Maven course product. We’ve made a lot of progress in 2.5 years!
