Much of social media is sensual exploitation. It so easily becomes #porn... feeding the mind junk and warped reality, tricking our dopamine receptors and hacking our neurochemistry. Not to mention the actual soft porn on insta and real porn on twitter/snap. wild.

I had been in denial that I was attached to Twitter in lieu of using image-heavy platforms, thinking I've gotten away with "correctly" using social media. I fell into my own trap. Only in removing oneself can this be seen.

I've let news drip in from my surroundings and not having my finger on the pulse as Twitter allows for has thus far not hurt me in any way I'm aware of. My mind has been clear of related intrusive worries and justifiable repudiations. Mental ease is priceless for focused work

I've spent the last 6 months off of Twitter and the main result was knowing about far less news and feeling far less inferior to others. Even the bite-sized wisdom turns out to just be entertainment. Reading one great book greatly surpasses even 1,000 "great" tweets.

Making this my casual/private account for me to actually interact with friends. I'm transforming my other account into a brand to advance my spiritual and personal growth concepts.
