Six minutes deep in this one, and Sissons is skating with Hertl and Reilly. Kolesar down with Dowd and Cole Smith.

My favorite memory from the UNLV and Nevada basketball rivalry is when Steve Sisolak wore this hat.

MLB Playoffs BEST BET 🍀 (Part 1)
⚾️: Game 2 (Padres vs Cubs)
2025 Playoffs: 1-0 (+1 Units)
2024 Playoffs: +13.97 Units
After watching game one, I immediately took a side for game two.
The Cubs will start Andrew Kittredge, but we should see Shota Imanaga and Mike Soroka at some point for the middle innings.
On the other side, Dylan Cease will get the ball for the San Diego with his elite bullpen behind him. While the Padres have the "pitching advantage" here, they did yesterday as well, and look how that turned out.
The Padres got a 1-0 lead early, then pissed it away, looking lifeless in the process. I couldn't believe the ABs I was watching.
Machado, Tatis, and Arraez combined to go 0-11, and there seemed to be a lack of urgency. Matthew Boyd did not have his best stuff, and the Padres still couldn't capitalize on it.
Once the Cubs' bullpen arms came in, with actual good stuff, the Padres didn't record a hit.
The Padres laid down. That was a concern of mine going into the playoffs, especially considering the Padres didn't perform on the road this season (38-43). Among playoff teams, that's tied with the Reds' for the worst road record.
Cease has had issues on the road all season, pitching to a 5.58 ERA over 16 starts. He threw once against the Cubs this season, tossing 5.2 IP, allowing seven hits and three earned runs.
The Padres have scored one run over their last 33 innings in the playoffs dating back to last year.
The Captain, Manny Machado, is 0-11 in his previous 11 ABs in the playoffs. There are real issues here that I don't think will get solved today.
In the wild card series, the winners of game one tend to finish the job in game two. Teams that win Game 1 are 15-3 in Game 2 in this format.
Short home favorites up to -125 when facing a non-divisional opponent in the playoffs are 59-32 (64% win rate).
The Cubs' home environment is electric, and they grabbed momentum yesterday. I think they put the Padres to sleep here.
The Pick on @BetMGM

MLB Sunday (8/17) BEST BET 🍀
Padres ML (+135) vs Dodgers
⚾️: Risk 0.75 Units #BetMGM
Darvish has historically pitched extremely well against the Dodgers.
Over 209 PA against the Dodgers current roster, they are hitting .194 with a .282 xwOBA. He’s backed by five rested horses in the bullpen.
Backing the Padres not to get swept. Let me know what you think.
