Here's an ELI5 for the exchange vulnerability I Tweeted about last night, discovered by @levelk_io. Basically, when an exchange processes a withdrawal to an Ethereum address, that address might be a smart contract. That smart contract might have a default function that uses gas.

@theblockstalk @ethereum @EOS_io There are also initiatives in Ethereum that could be considered to be "Freemium"; Uport and MetaTx both have ways that 3rd parties could pay the gas cost for a TX. The main difference seems to be that EOS bandwidth and RAM is reusable, so the cost to the 3rd party might be less.

@theblockstalk @ethereum @EOS_io One thing that seems to be severely overlooked is that in EOS you can't create an account without someone with an account already letting you in. You can't interact with a Freemium Dapp without first paying someone (or in the future getting a big exchange to create an account)
