@CarrotyD and then take it from there. It is very rare that we fill a trip within a few hours and if we do, high five us and we tend to see if we can take more people with us (depending on budgets etc).

@CarrotyD Hi Caroline :-) We have to normally fill spots on a first come/first serve basis. In an ideal world, we would only invite 5 journalists to a trip (we tend to have 5 spots) but response rates are quite dire, so we would always invite between 10-15, see what the response is

Feedback request: What is a reasonable turnaround time for a journo to respond to a PR about whether or not they can make a long-haul, overseas press trip that is several months in the future?
