So this is just incorrect. A preponderance of contemporary sci-fi/fantasy texts have been influenced by a farrago of writers that predates Herbert. Beowulf and the odyssey still keep the light on in the fantasy genre. H.G Wells & Jules verne are still heavily referenced.

@J_Chiemeke It looks how it's supposed to be, lower tier for teams that finished lower in their leagues. The ‘smaller’ teams have their competition.
A team shouldn't fail somewhere and come down to bully others to try for a trophy. Everyone should play with their mates.

This new format has made the Europa League less attractive.
At least it was a decent mix when teams who finished 3rd in the UCL would drop down to the competition's Round of 32.
It just looks like a proper Mickey Mouse tournament now.

My dad (retired journalist) hated flowery language so much that he made me promise to say he died in his obituary (as opposed to succumbing to an illness etc). Then when he died when I was 26 I had to argue with the funeral director about how cold my obituary sounded, lmao.
