Funny how the EM dash — has become the internet’s unofficial “AI detector.” 😄 Writers have used it for decades. AI learned it from human writing. And now humans are avoiding it! We’ve officially reached the era where punctuation itself looks suspicious.

AI was supposed to save time. Instead, most of us just increased output. Faster emails. More ideas. More meetings. Efficiency doesn’t reduce work. It makes doing more feel cheap.

The WooCommerce stores break because of the Death by 1000 plugins! Instead of asking "Is there a plugin for this?" We should ask "Do we actually NEED this?" Your plugin library isn't a trophy collection Every plugin is a trade-off b/w convenience and performance Choose wisely.

AI is not smart. It's obedient Ask a dumb question, get a confident-sounding dumb answer It built your login page It just didn't tell you anyone can bypass it in 30s It can't think, only responds You're not replacing judgment with AI Youre just building the wrong thing faster

Good engineering is mostly invisible. Things work. Nothing breaks. Users don’t complain. That usually means the hard thinking happened early. Before the code.

Here’s a clean, natural X version that fits the tone and stays under the limit: True talent isn’t about being fast. It’s about knowing when to slow down. Reading twice. Asking “why” while others rush. It doesn’t look impressive at first. But over time, it shows.

I think this might be the first time we have Open Source at the majority of the top 5,000 sites, which is a big win.
