ANOTHER MARATHON HOT TAKE: Base Knife doesnt need a nerf. It is the great equalizer. It should be able to kill a purple shield in three swings - ESPECIALLY with all three arachne upgrades. Just because you have purple kit doesnt mean you should be exempt from the fear of a knife! I lost 2 20k kits to free kits last night. Thats part of the game! I was careless and didnt check both corners. Yes it sucks. Yes I was pissed for well over 30 min. BUT ITS ON ME! ITS A SKILL ISSUE! BASE KNIFE ISNT THE ISSUE! Now I havent played around with enough mods to see how affective the knife can be on like Destroyer. But knife should be strong no matter what. If you cant kill a free kit knifer with purple kit you have positioned wrong and you deserve to die
