so disappointed in what looks to be an awful ending to the incredible masterpiece that was The Boys. first 2 seasons were amazing, 3 wasn’t bad, it started going downhill with 4, and 5 has been disappointing, to say the least. the writers seem to have completely lost the plot

but an absolutely necessary one. I'm glad I have the self-awareness to see how big of a problem this can become if I don't start to take care of it now; I feel like the large majority of our society is probably experiencing the same thing, but they just haven't realized it yet.

All this to say I'm going to pickup reading again, and will try and wean myself off of the crutch that is my electronic devices. It won't be easy, and it's not something that will happen overnight, or even over the course of a few months. It's going to be a long process...

I absolutely need to start reading again. I don't want to go full freak out and say I've gotten dumber, but I 100% have noticed myself not being as sharp as I used to be in terms of fluently speaking with good vocabulary, and not having to pause and think of a specific word.
