@nathanwaters Yes that’s what an ecosystem should be. The visible actions of game b mimetic models are mostly activities of theorising, so people mostly imitate theorising. Which is not a criticism of the theorists, but a demonstration of imbalance in the ecosystem around the idea.

@nathanwaters I wonder this as well. Much of the existing content is 15 years of content marketing aimed at hacking the Google algo. GPT could generate new content forms by designing to work from content outside of the Google algo frame.

@disladycaity People tend to go through this process but not always to be relevant/helpful... just generally generate some affect/lead to some action. The consumer needs protective equipment (probably mostly mental tools) from manipulation by the content creator and/or platform.

@_traviswall It would be interesting if we could process a tweet or a post the same way we process other things. Like if it went through phases the writing phase, the critically analysing phase (is it relevant/helpful), selecting your audience phase then onto the posting phase. 🤔

In the future I expect (or maybe hope) people will look back at the way information industries use social media today the way the construction industry today looks back at asbestos "Can you believe people were just doing that without protection! Wild times"
