I’d like to shoutout that Connor predicted exactly how Chelsea would setup and said Garnacho would be key and he was. Connor is the best in the game when it comes to Chelsea, lock into him everywhere 👍

The profile that is needed with our ball to feet players in the attacking unit ~ an off ball mover/stretcher is KEY 🔹Made some brilliant runs from outside to inside ~ stretched the pitch with opposite movements when others went towards play 🔹Was able to push the opposition back with wide 1v1 carries into their own box ~ gain territory and enter dangerous areas (box entries) ~ can then also provide threat via shift & shoots or cut backs 🔹Liked his mindset for give & go’s, something that needs to become as frequent as possible in his play to utilise his off ball movement and mask his lack of 1v1 dribbling ability to beat his own man ~ you could see on a number of occasions he was frustrated when not getting the return pass he hoped for His application was good last night, need that to continue… he has a chance to push for that available spot in the team (off ball mover/stretcher), he needs to take it
