- Search for same app, drag icon into another home screen page.

I always feel kinda bad / impostor-syndromey or something when a fix for an issue ends up being extremely simple, even if the process of arriving at said conclusion required far more work/knowledge than it initially lets on o)-<

@b3ll Is your iPad configured on Sidecar on the same edge as the UC one? I don’t have this problem with the Sidecar iPad set below the screen while the UC edge is on the left of the screen

Oh this is fun. If you're using an iPad with Sidecar, and you also have Universal Control enabled, dragging a window from your Mac to the iPad will activate Universal Control and then kill Sidecar 🥲

@bensge @tihmstar Nope, I have a monitor as second screen and an iPad as third via Sidecar. I have to disconnect the iPad every evening and reconnect next morning in fear of macOS swapping the associated Spaces (although it keeps the positioning so it /can/ differentiate the screens)

@tihmstar I think macOS might confuse the two identical monitors. I remember reading about that problem some time ago, possibly from an apple employee

I have a 3 monitor setup with my M1pro (2 identical external and internal screen). Left and center are external, internal is right. I set up center to act as main screen, but every time mbp wakes from sleep the “content” of left and right screen are swapped…

@_kirbbb What was your solution for the front panel? I’ve found some schematics for wiring up the power button, USB and audio jack but I’ll be ignoring the FireWire ports

@_kirbbb I have no plans of opening the PSU but thanks for the warning. Mine already fits within the original case so I only need to make holes to it for the cables and add the cable extension with right angles.
