I don’t even know exactly how to begin this thank-you
there are so many layers of gratitude I feel for each of you that it’s hard to put into words.
I’ve been working as an artist for about 7-8 years now—honestly, I’m not even sure when it really began, but it’s been quite a while.
Over these many years of drawing tirelessly day after day, creating things I’m still proud of to this day, I ended up attracting a lot of people into my life.
Among these were so many wonderful people, as well as some not-so-great ones. But in the end, all of them helped me achieve so much in my life: financial stability, incredible friendships, amazing clients, and so much more that I can’t even begin to measure here for you.
These past few years, I went through some of my darkest moments. There were times when I couldn’t even draw—the thing I love most—for months because I didn’t have the strength to get out of bed.
But thanks to all of you, and those I consider family—both in my city and online—I pursued something that once felt impossible to me
It was through your GENEROUS donations, which definitely boosted my Ko-fi, but not just those—also the smallest contributions—that gave me the strength to cook myself something while I worked toward this goal. After a few months of tireless work, several cans of energy drinks, sleepless nights, and countless characters...
I can officially say that the GOAL FOR MY MASTEC HAS BEEN REACHED:
30,000 REAIS.
Which is ABSURD—it’s equivalent to about two and a half years of rent here in Brazil!
This is something I’ve always dreamed of doing, not just for my mental well-being but also for my physical health. Even though binders can be comfortable to some extent, they still hurt me and leave me feeling incredibly hot after a few hours.
And soon, this struggle will come to an end thanks to the support of EVERY SINGLE ONE of you in my work. Every like, retweet, comment, and follow—each of these has played a HUGE role in making this achievement possible for me.
I remember the first time I told everyone here that I wanted to try using he/him pronouns, and how, throughout all this time, each and every one of you has always welcomed me with open arms.
In the end, I have no way to fully thank everyone—just thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for everything, thank you for being a part of my story. In return, I try my best to show you all the coolest and most beautiful characters I can!
