Just because United paid big wages to average players doesn't mean that paying big wages is a PROBLEM. - Real Madrid pay Mbappe around 600k a week - City pay Haaland around 500k - Bayern pay Kane around 500k - Barca pay Lewandowski around 400k - PSG pay Dembele around 350k - Liverpool pay Van Dijk around 350k Do people think TOP players are going to turn down significantly better offers elsewhere just to join United for around 250k a week? The strict wage structure made sense 5 years ago but football is evolving financially at an incredible pace. This summer, prices seem to have reached a new level and United need to adapt to that reality or risk being left behind once again.
