@seqilol seriously, every time any sort of bad news came out about our ex-president, suddenly FirstNameBunchOfNumbers accounts would start tweeting a random new hashtag like BolsonaroTheGreatestOfAllTime just to flood the platform's search with it, it was like Blizzard announcing OW news

@seqilol what they probably didn't mention is that "talking out against the government" meant planning their (failed) coup, spreading the usual conspiracy theories (anti-vax stuff, etc), also the usual slew of botted accounts to try to manipulate trending topics to drown out bad news lol

@seqilol this wasn't just "regular" hate speech, either, there were many accounts connected to politicians who instigated the january 8 attempt at a coup over here, that sort of stuff

@seqilol - their BR rep didn't do shit - after a while judges were like "ok we're taking action against X's BR rep" - Musk dissolves BR office - "ok you don't have an office or a rep here so you can't do business" This took MONTHS btw it wasn't a "you bend the knee NOW or you're closed"
