Intel just released some new wafer shots of Xeon 6+ aka Clearwater Forest with a different esthetic compared to what we have seen before. Thats presumably because more metal layers are present to this one?

It's cool that Medusa gets FP8 and SWMMAC, but like... why does RDNA 4m need to exist? Like, is GFX12 "bad enough" to justify creating a custom, backward-incompatible version of GFX11 just for low-perf products? If area is that important, why not nerf GFX12 instead?

Some of these devices start at >$1000 (eg. HP Elitebook 6 G1i) So they disabled H.265 on >$1000 business-class machines to save 4 cents Bravo! Here's my take: processors with H.265 disabled should have different SKU names to clearly differentiate them (eg. with a "d" suffix)
