This government is focused on the cost of living.
At @educationgovuk, we're saving families cash:
£450 on free breakfast clubs
£50 on school uniforms
£500 on free school meals
£300 on school holiday clubs
Now it's confirmed we've halved childcare costs, saving parents £8,000.

@rezatwitts @DanielJHannan I hear what you’re saying, however the problem is still the same. You cannot tax a country into stability. When the welfare bill is higher than the tax received that’s a problem. If it were run as a business it would be classed as trading insolently

@KEdge23 Why would it mate? I hate stops the retailers just leaving the prices higher and making more money? Thats what they are doing at the moment anyway. Better governance on the sector is what’s needed tbh

The government could easily CUT fuel duty.
That would lower the cost of filling up the tank, helping millions of people all over the country with their bills.
That’s immediate support for a lot of people, which the Conservatives did before.
Labour’s plan? Increase it.
