Curious to know what exactly constitutes this matter as resolved? The fact that you even have to apologize for such behavior is the problem in and of itself. This isn’t the type of thing you say “sorry” for and it makes everything okay. Let’s stop pretending like you’re sorry for what happened and call it as it is - you’re only sorry that people know about it and it’s become an issue. Myself aside, the problem is that there’s an individual (Mikhail) representing the so-called “top organization” in our CODZA scene that consistently seeks to publicly defame, shame, and tear down other people at any chance. He goes around telling people cancer should’ve killed them, calling women whores, and never hesitates to let the people that are trying to compete and improve their gameplay know that they’re horrible at the game and should quit/retire. We used to have a community full of respectful, considerate, and talented individuals who all collectively contributed towards fostering positive growth and focused on maintaining a healthy and competitive scene where everyone could get along. Now, It’s all been ruined and put to shame by empowering individuals such as this who do nothing but rob the community of everything they’ve worked so hard to build over the last 10+ years just because they think they’re invincible. Maybe instead of apologizing for PR over twitter, you should re-evaluate the types of players and individuals you choose to represent your organization and start actually caring about the community instead of your public appearance. Your role as an org should be to build and contribute to the gaming communities - not empowering disgusting people who do nothing but tear them down. And since you love PR so much and want to make it all look pretty and resolved on twitter, I’ll do everyone a favor and tag all the parties involved so they can be made aware. It’s time to start taking accountability for your actions as adults and stop acting like children behind closed doors and saying whatever you want all the time. @Mik_isle_ @FE4R_Esports @BiogenSA @AfricanGaming @Mettlestate

Screenshots sent to Esports Watch ZA show a player @Mik_isle_ directing abusive messages toward a cancer survivor @VyanDreamz, including telling them that “cancer should’ve taken you.” This goes far beyond "competitive trash talk" We hope organisations and community leaders address behaviour like this. And remove this individual from our scene. @Mettlestate @AfricanGaming #EsportsWatchZA #EWZ

🚨 HIGHBORN ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨 We’re proud to officially welcome @HB_Lungweeni to HighBorn as our Head of Brand & Social Media. 🔴 Lungweeni joins the organization to help shape the future of HighBorn as we continue evolving beyond just an esports team and into a full lifestyle brand. His focus will be on elevating our social presence, strengthening our identity, and expanding the kind of content we bring to the community. Expect to see more IRL content, deeper storytelling, and a bigger push into lifestyle and motorsports, alongside the competitive side of HighBorn. This is a huge step in building a brand that lives both inside and outside of gaming. We’re excited for what’s ahead and confident Lungweeni will play a massive role in taking HighBorn to the next level. Welcome to the family. The #RedShield grows stronger.

🚨 Roster Update 🚨 We’re excited to officially welcome @_wkRae and @strawhatlulu to the HighBorn Ladies Academy roster. These two bring serious pressure across the map, sharp comms, and nothing but good vibes to the squad. Anyone who knows competitive Call of Duty League understands how important map pressure, rotations, and pacing are in modern titles like #BlackOps7. Rae and Luffy excel at exactly that - constant presence on the map, and creating space for the team to dominate key hills and control setups. We’re hyped to see what this #DoubleTroubleDuo brings to the battlefield. Welcome to the #RedShield

Funny how every top squad got LAN trophies on deck. @HighBorn_GG LAN winners across the board. @NixuhCorp LAN winners across the board. @FE4R_Esports Damn near the same story , except one name. @Mik_isle_ talking the loudest with zero LAN wins while standing next to champions like he part of the résumé 😭 Brother you not the headline, you the footnote. Win one on stage first, then tweet ♥️

Good morning everyone, I want to take the time to sincerely apologise to @KwaaiKattie , as well as @biancafeza and @miscatastrophic, for my actions and for the way the situation unfolded. This message is written to clearly acknowledge that my conduct was wrong and that it caused disruption, stress, and unnecessary difficulty for members of your management team. I recognise that the way I communicated and handled myself contributed to tension and placed pressure on people who did not deserve to be put in that position. Regardless of intent, I understand that the impact of my actions was negative, and I am genuinely sorry for that. I also acknowledge that the situation escalated in a way that created disorder within management spaces and processes where professionalism, clarity, and respect should have been maintained. I regret the role I played in contributing to that escalation and accept that I should have acted with greater awareness, restraint, and responsibility. Looking back, I recognise that I failed to pause, reflect, and de-escalate when it was needed most. I want to be clear that this apology is not written lightly. I have spent time reflecting on how my actions affected others and how my behaviour fell short of the standards expected within a community-driven organisation like @FECoDZa. I understand that management teams often carry the responsibility of maintaining a safe, supportive, and structured environment, and my actions added strain rather than support to that responsibility. I would also like to apologise to anyone within the wider LevelHer community who may have been affected by the situation. I recognise that situations involving conflict or public disruption can impact more than just those directly involved, especially within a community built to uplift, empower, and protect women in gaming. Any discomfort, distraction, or unease caused within that space as a result of this situation is sincerely regretted. I appreciate the time, effort, and attention taken by management to address what occurred. I do not take that lightly. Going forward, I am committed to being more mindful in how I communicate, more respectful in how I engage, and more accountable for how my actions may affect others. My intention is to ensure that nothing similar occurs again and that my future conduct reflects greater maturity and consideration. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for considering my apology. Kind regards, Rachel @GandTea11
